The pursuit of Happyness

Have you watched 'The Pursuit of Happyness'? its a really good movie based on a true story. Everytime i feel down and think that its almost the end of the line, like i hit a brick wall, i watch this movie. Everytime i watch it i get tearie eyed. It gets me so emotional sometimes i feel what the whole story is all about. I am truly blessed that i have not made it to the point where im worried anytime i might get kicked out by the landlord for failing to pay the rent, or ending up sleeping in prison for overdued parking tickets. There were times that i would call it the black days where we stumbled and fall and there was noone to pick us up. Its when you fall down and fall hard that you realize, what did i do wrong? Even when you think you have support from the closest people around you like your family, that seems to be a lesser option to take since everyone is so busy with their own obligations and commitments. Expect nothing and you wont get disappointed. After all, if i recall back to all the poeple whom are very wealthy and successful today, they once were in the dumps. Debts piling up to their heads, people turning their backs on them in fear that these people have nothing to offer but more to request help from. Money is always an issue even to the rich, especially to the rich!! So dont expect to be getting loans or help of any sort if you dont seem promising to them. Remember the story of Donald Trump? Nothing in life is easy. We just have to learn to live for ourselves and concentrate on our priorities like our children and try to give them the best that we can offer. That is our main priority now. Hopefully with a goal in mind we will be able to achieve it. Back to the movie, it really shows how similar society back then and today. If you dont go after what you want and dont take risks or chances, you will never know the true meaning of success. The pursuit of Happyness shows how much sacrifices were made to be happy. Being happy is to be successful. To be successful is to be able to free yourself from debts and have a certain amount of cash to spend and save and to be able to provide to your family.

Mommy's day Baking

Today was the first time i attempted to bake some cupcakes for my good friend and family. The taste was quite ok for the first attempt. However theres still more room for improvements. With a kilogramme of cake mix i was able to make about 50 Pieces of cupcakes. When its birthday season for the family, ill be sure to bake some cupcakes instead of getting them from my local baker. Its more personal when you do it by yourself. Im so excited to start of this small scale baking project. This is something my two girls would enjoy doing with me. On the other hand im sure one of them will enjoy eating more than baking.
